Just the Facts

I took advantage of the drizzly morning, to go to Izzy's downtown, knowing that the tourists would probably not be out; I was right. I hadn't been in the coffee shop since they opened for indoor service, and I was happy to see my favorite barista, Rand, behind the bar.





After coffee, I went to the West Elm outlet; only my second time to the outlet mall; Im not much of a mall shopper. I had fun digging through the bins of wares; I enjoy anything that resembles a treasure hunt. I came home with two linen pillow covers, with the idea of doing some embroidery on them. I resisted the wooden flamingo picks. While out shopping, I got a call from the gentleman who I was suposed to have a date with last Friday, he's traveling for the summer, but wants to set up a date for when he gets home in September...oh dear.





Once home I started taking photos of more things to put on FB marketplace, mostly furniture that I thought I could live with, but have realized I dont want to look at it. My picture taking was postponed by a video call from Clay, who was excited to show me one of his drawings, (he wants to be an artist) and tell me about his week at camp. The rest of my day was spent puttering around the house, and eating all the delicious food Megan made; I love her cooking!
