Good Days

(SZA)

We've had a fun few days, Megan, Oliver and I. We drove to Burnsville to have coffee at Appalachian Java, and walk around the little town we last visited at Christmas, seven years ago. After that we got fried chicken at Publix, and it smelled so good, we ate it right there in the car.

I met up with my "Not Dead Yet" group for a walk around Carrier Park, and then on to Wedge for beer. I so look forward to these meetups. NC is finally loosening restrictions on bars and restraunts, and as such, downtown was hopping today, with tourists and buskers, its starting to feel like Asheville again. We stopped by Asheville Chocolates to talk with Melissa, then walked around town with her as she made deliveries. Oliver has been requesting sushi for quite a while, so we picked some up to feast on at home; it was delicious.

I've increased my morning walk to six miles, and have found steeper streets to travel on. I keep challanging myself just to see what I can do. I was telling Sarah today, that I feel better now and have less aches and pains, than I did at 18. Tommorrow I leave for KY; Im going to squeeze one last walk in before I hit the road.
