The hardest part of not blogging daily, is figuring out what to blog about when I do write. Do I make a list of everything thats been going on or do I highlight just a couple of things? Todays post is about last Friday.
Jessica has been talking to me about her favorite band, Tophouse, for a while now, and she was so excited to get tickets to see them play in St Pete a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately, a family issue kept her from attending; she was heart broken...ok, maybe not heart broken, but she was really sad. I knew Tophouse was playing here in Asheville, last Friday night, so I bought tickets for that, and then bought Jessica a plane ticket. She arrived Friday morning, and we, Jessica, Megan and I, had a Ferris Bueller day full of fun. We drank sangria and ate tapas at Curate, we walked around a couple of galleries, and spotted Victors work in one of them. We had sancks and drinks at a roof top bar, then went with Victor to an art show featuring one of his glass artist friends, followed by drinks and Banh Mi hot dogs at The Hound. Jessica, Megan and I went back to my place to get ready for the 10:30 concert. For me getting ready meant washing my face, and brushing and flossing my teeth, so I could go straight to bed whe I got home. We arrived at 10pm; the concert was sold out, (all their concets on this tour have sold out), with standing room only, and we were front and center. The band went on at 11:30, and played until almost 1:30. They were so fun, and I love their vibe and music. The whole concert was filmed; Brooke has watched it twice. The next morning Jessica was on a flight back to Tampa, and I joined Victor at the tailgate market, sellling cheese and visiting with my regular customers. It was a most excellent 24 hours.

Ready for bed...except lipstick. I always wear lipstick.
