Its been so long since I've written, I though about giving it up, but it's where my memories are held, and although rare, I do enjoy being able to visit them.
Since my last post, I've been to Florida twice. September was Brookes eighth birthday; its such a pivotal age and I wanted to be there to celebrate. At her request, I bought her a santa suit, the second such gift she has received from me; she outgrew the one from a few years ago. Her favorite movie is The Santa Clause, and now that she knows she won't permanently become Santa, she loves dressing up. During my visit I went to Busch Gardens with the grandchildren, and discovered I still love riding roller coasters.
Last week I was in Orlando visiting John and Sarah, and went to see Depeche Mode, in concert. Its amazing to see how high energy these performers, who are my age and older, are.
Here in Asheville, we are in full bloom autumn color, my goal for the next week is to be outside enjoying it as much as possible...and to take photos and blog.
