It's Been Awhile

Without the blogging community and connections made there, its easy to ignore this space. Where previously there were interactions, and friendships formed, there is now silence, just me posting a few photos and words for my family. Ironically thats why I started a blog, but it grew and became my lifeline to the outside world. I now get to meet people in person, mostly through the creamery tours I give, and Saturdays at City Market, where I sell cheese; I love doing these things, interactions with people energize me.

A couple of weekends ago, Jessica and Anna drove up from Florida for a visit. We walked around downtown and bar/restaurant hopped Saturday night, then made tortellini at Victors on Sunday, to be consumed at the dinner he hosted for them that evening. I believe the photos capture the fun we had.

I've been working the market, where when it's cold and business is slow, we dance.

Victor and I have been working in his backyard. A year ago it was overgrown with weeds. In the fall we cleared it and brought in fill, and two weeks ago we made a path from the creamery to the back door. This week we've been working on a paver patio, that will have a pergola and table, to host alfresco dinners.
