Fancy Things

I was going to say I haven't done much since arrving home from Italy, but then I scroll through my photos and see otherwise. Bonnie took me out to Vivians, a fancy french restaurant, where we had drinks and such good food.

Barn Door Ciderworks reopened after a short winter break, and we had italian cheese and barrel aged cider. The cidery and Blueridge Mountain Creamery were featured in a chefs dinner at The Horse Shoe Farm (A boutique htel and gorgeous wedding venue) and we got to enjoy the fancy dinner, without paying $160 a person.

The silo has been turned into an observation tower, with pillowed seating and dangling phallic sculptures overhead. Writing on the walls is encouraged.

I went to a really fancy ax throughing place with my friend, Meliah, and hit a bullseye on my fifth try. I hit the bullseye 17 more times.

Had homemade pasta in the evening and a beautiful sunrise in the morning.

Went out for sushi followed by a stop at our favorite local bar. Not fancy but fun.

I've also scooped truffles, done some baking, cleaned my house, gone to the gym...usual life stuff. What Im really excited about is taking over the cheese tours for Victor. I have two groups scheduled for tommorow!
