The One About Brooke

While putting Brooke to bed one night, and by putting her to bed, I mean telling her its bed time, and watching her arrange her menagerie of stuffed anilmals around her, each having its own place, with Humphrey the dog watching gaurd over all, she demonstrated the two versions of sucking her thump. The fisrt is just for bed time. Brooke has had this crocheted doll since birth, and at night she holds the top of its head and takes deep breaths, smelling it, while she sucks her thumb. She said this makes her feel so good.

In the morning, she puts a piece of her hair between two fingers and sucks.
