Here we are on Jessicas 39th birthday. She still likes hats.

Our favorite beer was, "Employee of the Month" (the employee is their cat) which is a Creamsicle flavored cream ale, served with a creamsicle in it.

The lake at camp; Florida does have some beautiful spsots.

Ray and Jessica are in California, celebrating their 20th anniversary, and Ray's stepsisters wedding. While they are away, its my job to keep the kids alive. So far I've had to do almost nothing. These kids are so easy, and take care of themselves and each other. Activities have included swimming, burying each other under pillows, blowing bubbles, drawing and general merriment.

This has given me ample time to read and work on myself and learn more about healthy relationships, which I am also working on. (Boundaries...remember your boundaries.) I like that Jessica has included boundaries on the bulletin board for the kids.

The book I'm reading is Megans. She suggested I read it too...I feel like EVERYONE should read it. Its not about blaming or shaming your parents, but how to overcome behaviors and beliefs and how to respect yourself. Megan and I had a great relationship before; its even better now.
I love thrifting, and always score big when I'm in Florida. Today Addison and I are hitting up a couple of thrift stores, Jackson and Brooke in tow, with the promise of McDonalds for lunch.

Friends who show up with pizza and beeer are the best! Thank you Anna, especially for the company.
