I rode to Spruce Pine with Victor, to get some batch from his glass supplier; I didn't know until then that Spruce Pine is known as mineral city. When Victor saw how excited I was by the drive and being somewhere new, he put off work and made it a day of fun for me. We went to a gem mine, and walked around the gift shop looking at rocks, stopped at the NC State Mineral Museum, went to Old Fort for beer and burgers, then visited a spring along side of the road and drank some fresh water; then after an afternoon nap, we went out for sushi. It was a most excellent day.

At this point in our sushi dinner, we realized we were REALLY hungry, and went out and got pizza.

Weekend flowers, and a giant, "romantic" pancake for two.

I spent an afternoon filming Victor blowing glass, then editing the film, for a museum that buys alot of his work. Drinking beer on the job is a perk.

I was craving sushi; ask and it shall be made for you. Incase it isn't obvious, Victor and I are giving being in a relationship, another try.

Drinks with Brenda.

A surprise package from Sarah; handcrafted hand cream.

Megan set up a table outside; this is where I am blogging from.
