This cold is lasting forever...ok, its just been a week, but it feels like forever, probably because we are having phenomenal weather, and I want to be outside, and not sitting on the sofa watching endless hours of Netflix, while going through boxes of tissues. Monday a friend rescued me from my sofa and endless meals of toast, and cooked me a steak dinner, followed by our FIg cookie taste test. I was finally able to track down a package of Newmans cookies, and they were the winner in the taste test. They have more filling.
Remember the job interview I told you about? It was at a local brewery, and I got the job. Everything was settled until I was Offhandedly asked, "You're up to date on your boosters?" I explained my medical exemption, but was told without being vaxed, I couldn't be hired.
