I bit the bullet and made a dating profile last night, using not so great photos of me from over the holidays. I don't have many pics of myself as Im the one always taking the photos. About 30 minutes after being active on Bumble, I matched with someone visiting Asheville. He is from California, looking to move here, and he grew up in Orlando. Despite this commonality, I knew right away he was looking for a booty call. Within the first few minutes, he told me I was beautiful. Does this line actually work with women? I turned the conversation back to learning about him, and he deleated me. This happens fairly often. It made me realize that men don't read profiles.
Going through my old blog reminded me that I've never posted photos of my new place; I guess I was waiting until I was happy with how it looked. Its a work in progress, and nesting is something I love to do and am never finished with...so, here are some photos. My place doesn't have good light, it was built in the early 80's and still has the original finishes, its cold and the windows are horrible, but I love it.
Walking in my front door.

My kitchen and its very vintage stove.

The hallway and my Beer City sign.

My living room.

I need more art.

The bathroom door. To the right is the master, which I use as a guest room, and to the left is my room. Its cozy.

My room.

The guest bathroom.

It lacks storage, but that just helps me to eliminate more stuff. I thnk its pretty perfect.
