Three weeks ago I did something to my glute muscle; I thought I just pulled it, but instead of getting better, its getting worse. I've not been able to walk in the mornings, and now it hurts to sit with the pain running down my leg. I've spent the day sitting laying on my side with ice packs on my bum. Being still is not good for my mental health. It gives me too much tie to ponder the fact that I still don't have a purpose, and dont know what I should be doing. I'd like to get a job, I need interaction with people to be happy.
I made an appointment to get vaccinated, but thought I should run it by my doctor first. Im glad I did because he told me with my long history of allergies and adverse reactions to drugs, I should not get the shot, and sent me a letter saying I am medically exempt. Does that mean Im still barred from Asheville restaurants and venues? Will the exemtion allow me to get a job?
Renee came for a visit Friday. We went to a dive bar for burgers; she was skeptical at first, but the french fries won her over. Saturday we visited the farmers market, had breakfast at the Yellow Mug, went to the arboretum, and on our way home, stopped at the outlet mall, where I was aghast at how expensive RH, Crate and Barrel and West ELm are, even for damged merchandise. Before Renee left, I gave her, her birthday present, using the bag we've been passing back and forth for over twenty years.
Sunday Funday, I went to Brendas for a brunch get together. Im so grateful for these sweet new friends.

Depends on the employer. A government would probably employ you but require that you get tested periodically (where I work, the unvaccinated are required to be tested twice a week). A private employer can say no to you completely, and that's their call. As for venues and restaurants, it depends. They get to decide. Some here decide that a negative test within a certain time period of entry is as good as the vaccine for entry. Reading the fine print is required!
