Cheese maker, glass blower, house builder, creator of beautiful things, and now my... boyfriend? Manfriend? Victor. Basiclly we've agreed not to date anyone else as we get to know each other.



Yes, this snuck up on me pretty fast. We met through FB dating back in June, but I went to FL before we could meet in person. Then Victor was out of town. We eventually got together for a beer, then for burgers and beer, then dinner, and the next thing I knew, I was learning to make cheese and riding through the mountains on the back of a Harley. I've spent six days learning to make cheese; it's a pretty good way to get to know someone.

This week, along with making Camembert and Mountain Jack cheese, I roasted peppers in the glass blowing furnace. It only takes three seconds to get a perfectly roasted pepper when the oven temp is 2200 degrees.
