My Day of Indulgence

It's nothing like the title implies, but it was an indulgent day, because I decided to do whatever I wanted and not feel guilty about it. I sat outside and read a book, had two cups of esspresso instead of one, and then ordered the Nesspresso coffee capsules, instead of the less expensive and less tasty Peets. Then I made myself decaf in the afternoon. I ate a bag of frozen waffle fries for dinner...and I had two lunches. A bean taco at 12 and a ham sandwich at two. I washed and admired my new storage continers; I was excited to find ones with bamboo lids instead of plastic because you know how I feel about plastic. I spent twenty minutes comtemplating my very boring bedroom...thats what happens when you get rid of most everything you own, including linens. I may use this piece of art as color inspiration; I've always had white on white bedding, so this is a step out of my comfort zone, but then thats what Im trying to do these days. Im also considering a bigger bed...maybe a king, even though it is just me, because I like room, and you never know...

  1. that is truly an awesome coverlet -- you could accent it with a bunch of pillows, too! It sounds to me like you are making huge strides in a life of your own....I am so amazed by all I am learning about your changes and growth. Thanks so much for posting so I can have a 'window' into your life. It seems like it may have been a big challenge, but one you have met with courage and tenacity. You are my hero!! (heroine actually) Here's to you!!! (and a new bed if you want....too)
