Listening to My Mom

I facetimed with my mom last night and she commented on how exhausted I looked. While all I did yesterday, was laze around watching movies with Megan, I havent been sleeping well; I blame my injured foot and lack of walking. This morning thanks to the physical therapy exercises I've been doing, \I was able to do a four mile walk, but afterward I was wiped out. Mom video called again, took one look at me and told me I needed to nap and rest all day, so thats what Im doing... which is pretty much what Ive been doing for the past week...well, I did manage to do a few things.

I scored these very Ashevillian yoga pants out of the trash. Ok, maybe not exactly the trash. A neighbor had a garage sale and put all of the unsold items on the curb along with a sign that read, "Free". They are SO comfortable.



I bought an outdoor table for my patio, and put up a shelf, (it was our mantle previously) in my bedroom. I also was able to sell a chandelier and dresser, on Craigslist.





I got another surprise in my mail box, from Jessica.





I went to a meetup group and played the game, Tabu, winning a dollar from Bob, who didn't think anyone could guess what word he had. I guessed metrosexual, was correct and was surprised no one at our table had eve heard of the word before.





While I wasn't able to join my friends downtown for live music, they did send me this cute photo of themselves.
