Repeating Days

(R5)

Everyday last week followed the same pattern. Wake up, drink coffee, walk, drink more coffee, sort through boxes and load up the van for another trip to Hospice, where I've been donating my treasures. Most of these treasures were vintage one of a kind items, and art, that decorated my home, the things that told the story of who I was...I'm not that person anymore. I was telling a friend last weekend, that I view my life as being divided by a giant wall; the past is on one side and doesn't even relate to the side Im living on now; its as if Im looking at someone elses life.

So, yes, other than a beer meetup, last week was pretty mundane...but then Bonnie rescued me from the doldrums, with an invitation to join her at a house party/porch concert, to listen to David Wilcox. The party was at the most intriguing home, down on the river, it felt magical. The walls of the home were covered in original art, and part of the house was built around a tree; I'm sure this home had to have been featured in a magazine at sometime, and if not, it should be.

Hugging the tree.

A gift from Bonnie; a stack of brand new, Trinny of London, makeup; such a cool concept...this is going to be so much fun to play with.

Pillows from Sarah.
