All the Small Things

(Blink-182)

We may not have snow and ice, but baby, its cold outside. I got my walk in early, the temperature plummeting and tiny snow flakes hitting my face for the duration. I had plans to run errands, but chose to stay warm inside instead, living my best Martha Stewert life. I cleaned, did laundry and made a big pot of chili, which has unanimously been deemed as the best tasting chili ever. Its so good, that it's just about gone.

I pulled my wine bin out from under the bed and gazed at the bottles. A year later and other than half a dozen bottles that I've given as gifts, its all here, waiting for the end of covid to be enjoyed with friends.

The mail held two delightful surprises; my InStyle magazine, and tiny face razors from Sarah, because she cares about my exfoliation needs.

I Facetimed with my brother in the hospital, my mom who is iced in, in her house, and Monica, who entertained me with her cats. Miles said hello and gave me a wink with those dreamy eyes.

Jessica sent me this photo of Brooke, who has not let an ankle to thigh cast slow her down.

FB memories brought up these contrasting photos. My Florida yard in 2012, and the Grove Park Inn as seen from my bedroom in 2014.
